Our day started a little bit early (at least mine started). We went to Bombarral to catch a car for six persons to go to Lisbon’s airport. Our flight was calm, very calm. Then we arrived in Frankfurt (Germany) and after one/two hours we caught a flight to Tallinn.
When we arrived in Tallinn we were all tired, but still at the airport we (Clara, Marta and me) met our friends from Germany and their representative teachers. At the start I thought we all were too shy to start a conversation.
Then we started to get off the baggage area in the Tallinn airport and the first person we saw was Kreete (student from Pärnu), who was with Hidi and Karolin. They took us to a bus and we made a two hour trip to Pärnu…
...on the next day…

The day officially started at 8.00 with the breakfast (that was really good). After eating the whole breakfast, we caught a busto the capital of Estonia, Tallinn.
When we arrived in the city a student from the 11th grade showed us a little bit of the city. After a walk through the city we had some free time to go to some stores, eat and basically do what we wanted with our Estonian mates.
When the two hours break ended we walked again to a very fancy restaurant and we had one of the best meals of our lives!

Nearly 9 o´clock we arrived at school and instantly started talking with everyone, they guide us through their school with the teachers and students, and we had the chance to see how their school system is different from ours. After that we went to the municipality centre where we saw a presentation talking about Estonia and especially about Pärnu and Pärnu- Jaagupi. After that we came back to school and had some time before lunch.
We had lunch at the canteen of the school, everyone ate and thereafter we headed to the assembly hall where all of our activities where happening.
When everyone was ready a teacher came near us and presented herself to us, she was the one who was going to teach us the folklore dances.
Every single person was having so much fun, literally all of us were smiling. The boys had to dance alone and then the girls had to dance alone too, following on everyone danced together again.
After we were done dancing we had some free time, in that free time we rested and we went to other room where we learnt how to make an amulet called “Vigala cross” or “Vigala rist” in Estonian, basically if you that hanged on your house all the bad spirits and energy will be absorbed by it.
We went to the beach and then walked to the restaurant where we had dinner all together.

Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th of october of 2021
This project was one of the best experiences of my life, I was waiting for a long time for this trip and it made me more and more excited. With this project I learned a lot about friendships, cooperation, culture and much more.
I am grateful for being one of the students chosen for this activity and especially for the trust deposited by all the teachers because I know that behind all this there is a lot of work and effort, we had five wonderful days, we were received with all the hospitality and kindness possible. Of all these days I think the ones that marked me the most were Tuesday (10/5/2021) and Wednesday (10/6/2021).
On Tuesday we went to school at 8:30 in the morning, and right after that we started working on another workshop with the objective of mixing all the languages of the project in a short video. At 1:00 pm it was time for lunch where we were all socializing in the canteen. In the afternoon we had a cultural visit to Somma national park with the intuition to get to know a little bit of the Estonian nature. During the night we had that time to socialize only the students where we had a super fun night and a super nice dinner.
On Wednesday we went to school at 8:30 in the morning, right after that we started to work in our last workshop unfortunately, we learned how to play one of the typical Estonian instruments, I confess that it was a little difficult, but very funny, also in the morning we learned how to play one of the typical Estonian games Discgolf. At 13:00 we had lunch hour as usual. In the afternoon we had a very funny game with the goal of recreating some scenes in various parts of the school that in my opinion was one of the most fun activities, still in the afternoon we had a meeting together where we shared the opinions with each other about the various days, it was a little sad meeting because from that time I realized that it was almost over.
In the evening we had our last dinner all together, where we handed out the certificates, some gifts and shared the videos of the different workshops.
I can't even find the words to describe how incredible these moments were, all I can say is thank you.

This day was the hardest one, no one was ready to say goodbye, we developed so many affinity that no one wanted to leave Estonia. The German people already left when we woke up, so only Italians and Portuguese people were still left in the hotel.
Unfortunately we had to say goodbye and head to the bus stations where we would catch the bus so we could get to the capital, catch a taxi and then finally go to the airport.
